Overview
sei photography works across Kansai under a single idea: そのまんまで — just as you are. Sei does not direct poses. He photographs the ordinary, slightly funny moments that happen anyway, standing closer to a friendly older brother than to a photographer in the room.
The reason runs deep. The photographs his own parents left him still hold him up as an adult, and he wants the children he photographs to look back one day and feel how much they were loved.

The challenge
The concept is quiet, and it flattens easily into "natural family photos" — which is what every competitor already says. The difference had to be visible before anyone read a word.
The brand also had to carry a larger ambition: to become the name for everyday photography in Kansai, not simply another local studio.

Approach
The identity is built from a house and a camera drawn as one continuous line, with handwriting and ink pooling left in rather than cleaned up. The imperfection is kept on purpose, because the imperfection is the concept.
A night-sky blue carries sincerity and a warm cream yellow carries the warmth. Japanese is set in rounded gothic, English in a light sans, both adjusted so the pair reads as one voice rather than two.
